Payment - School Bytes

Making a payment

Our school has implemented a system called School Bytes to manage payments. Parents/carers can visit the School Bytes portal at any time to make a payment online, view payment history and apply credit. For non-student payments, please contact the school for a payment link.

You can access School Bytes via the app or online via the portal website

Please contact the school office if you need help with setting up School Bytes.  Visit between 8:30am and 3:00pm, phone or email.

 

What Is School Bytes?

The School Bytes app/portal provides the functionality for you to:

  • Give permission online for excursions and events
  • Check the status of all permission notes (to make sure you have done it)
  • Make school payments online (including paying for multiple siblings at once)
  • Use a family credit to pay for an activity or school payments
  • Download a receipt for payments made and view all of your payment history
  • See details of the activity – never lose a school excursion note again!

 

Using the School Bytes Portal

  • Please ensure your email address and contact details are up to date with the school.  If you need to change, check, or add an email address, please contact the school.
  • To access the School Bytes portal or app you will need to set up an account when you use it for the first time by clicking/tapping on the “create a new account”.   At the bottom of the screen is a link to “User Guides” for extra help if needed.
  • Ensure emails sent to you from noreply@mail.schoolbytes.education are not marked as spam/junk in your email system.
  • Permission notes and fees will be sent to your email, simply click the link to give open the secure online form to give permission and pay.  If the activity involves a cost, the "make a payment" button will allow you to pay securely, quickly and easily via credit or debit card after granting permission (Visa and Mastercard only). To use a credit, go to the payments tab in the app/portal.
  • The student Statement of Account and payment reminders will be sent directly to parents/caregivers via email.  The Statement of Account email will include the make a payment button that will take you to the school's online payment portal.
  • Online payments are processed immediately and can be viewed by school staff straight away.
  • While our preference is for payments to be made via the portal, we will still accept payment via cash and EFTPOS at the school office.

Cash Payments

Online payments are always preferable, but if you must send cash, please provide money in an envelope with:

  • the child's name and class
  • the event the money covers
  • the amount in the envelope

Whenever possible correct money should be enclosed as change may not be available. Please be aware that $2 coins fall out of the unsealed corner of most envelopes.
